The COVID-19 vaccination is here! As members of long-term care, we are thankful to be offered this vaccine several months before it is available to the general public.

The first COVID-19 vaccination clinic will be held at Bay View on December 30, 2020, from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. This clinic will be for both staff, including all contracted staff, and residents. We are very excited!

Bay View is partnering with Walgreens to host COVID-19 Immunization Clinics at Bay View in the coming weeks. Protecting our residents, patients, and staff is our top priority and we will do everything we can to make the immunization process as safe and seamless as possible for staff and residents.

Minnesota has chosen the Moderna vaccine as the approved Covid-19 vaccine for emergency use.

Moderna clinics will need to be 28 days apart. 3 clinics will be set up to ensure that everyone who will want the vaccine has a chance to get both doses.
